The main library of the University is situated at Dębinki 1 near the Collegium Biomedicum Building.

The Medical University of Gdańsk Main Library is the largest medical library in the Pomeranian region. Together with the MUG Faculty of Pharmacy Library, it is open to all patrons interested in medical literature. Over 4700 active patrons (from over 9200 registered patrons) use the Libraries’ resources and services. Spacious interiors await our patrons, with 27 computer stations and 246 seats and:

• 2 reading rooms,
• Scientific Information Reading Room,
• 6 individual and group study rooms (18 seats total).

The latest medical literature is available on the shelves of the Study Area. MUG students and staff may access wireless network eduroam on their own devices and and plug them into the outlets built into the tables in the reading rooms. Self-service scanning (free of charge) and paid printing/copying are also available.

New Sports Centre

The Sports Centre building consists of a sports arena (1100 m2) with futsal, handball, basketball and volleyball pitches, as well as gymnasiums for aerobics and squash. Asian martial arts and wrestling. There are also a tribune for 748 seats, along with fully accessible gym lockers and showers, as well as an underground garage with 103 parking spaces and stands for 22 bicycles.

Student canteens

STUDENT CANTEENS ARE LOCATED IN THE CAMPUS (DĘBOWA 7), COLLEGIUM BIOMEDICUM BUILDING (DĘBINKI 1), ATHENEUM GEDANENSE NOVUM BUILDING (ZWYCIĘSTWA 41/42) AND IN THE FACULTY OF PHARMACY BUILDINGS (HALLERA 107).

Depending on the canteen – breakfast or dinners are served. The cost of full breakfast and dinner is about 10-15 PLN each. The Campus canteens are usually open 5 days a week during the academic year except for Christmas and Easter and serve meals – breakfast from 7.45 a.m. to 12 a.m., dinner from 12.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. on working days and from 12.15 p.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.
