From October 2023, we invite you to the series “Cinematic Poland. Introduction to Polish Cinema for academia, film buffs and more…” organized by the Andrzej Wajda UG Film Center, in cooperation with the UG International Cooperation Office and the Medical University of Gdansk.
We have prepared for you a monthly journey through Polish cinema (classic and contemporary), with lectures and discussions moderated by film scholars from the University of Gdansk. The entire event will be held in English. Entry is free!
The exact film program until the end of this year is as follows:

▶ 𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 is an initiative of the Andrzej Wajda Film Center of the University of Gdańsk, Medical University of Gdansk and the International Office of the University of Gdańsk, an unit established to cooperate with the foreign part of the academic community. One of its tasks is to familiarize foreigners with Polish culture, including the history of Polish cinematography. Thanks to Cinematic Poland, foreign students and employees will have the opportunity to watch both classic films and contemporary productions.
