Fat Thursday Fun

We’d like to invite you to enjoy some doughnuts and celebrate Fat Thursday with Welcome Point! This special day, known in Poland as Tłusty Czwartek, is celebrated once a year on the last Thursday before Ash Wednesday and marks the beginning of Lent. A typical pączek is filled with rose jam, chocolate, raspberry jam or custard, and can be topped with icing, sugar or almonds. They say you’ll have bad luck for the entire year if you don’t eat at least one pączek on this day!

So make sure you secure your good luck and celebrate the last day of carnival with us. We’ll also be playing board games and putting together puzzles, so set aside a little extra time to relax, have fun, and enjoy the atmosphere together.
