From now on, having a Trusted Profile (Profil Zaufany) will be necessary for residence legalization procedures in Poland. Applications will be submitted and signed only electronically, so having a trusted profile will allow foreigners to complete immigration and administrative procedures online.
Creating a Profil Zaufany through a bank (the easiest way)
If you have an account in a Polish bank, for example PKO Bank Polski, mBank,Santander, ING Bank Śląski, etc.:
Visit your bank branch and a bank advisor will help you create the profile.
If you do not have a Polish bank account
You can create a Profil Zaufany at a verification point.
Go to a verification point such as:
Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych (ZUS)
The tax office
The city or municipal office
Starting from 1st of April you can directly submit documents to the Department of Foreigners’ Affairs only in cases for which you have previously submitted an application or were asked to submit missing documents.
If you wish to submit an application (new one), you cannot come to the Department of Foreigners’ Affairs.
Instead, you have to send the application via post.
